One Step at a Time

We had a little setback with our cucumber and squash starts, they didn't survive two really hot days immediately followed by a really cold night. No worries though, we will put seeds straight into the ground. A few of us showed up on Sunday to plant a few more things and check on the rest of the garden.

Raspberries

Peas

Onions Looking Good

Scallions

Turnips Sprouting

Just passing along a thought. Cukes and squash don't like to be transplanted so I save the paper towel and toilet paper cardboard and cut them in sections to plant these seeds. No handling the plants when it's time to put in garden so the plants thrive. Direct sowing is great but if you want to do both and get a jump on your food, this is great. Looks like fun.
